Email marketing is the best way to nurture prospects and to look after existing clients!

We all know that we don’t own social media but we do own our email marketing contacts, this is why we need to maximise how we nurture them to ensure we gain the best outcome – paying clients!

What do we need to do first?

 

We need to decide what you want your prospect to receive from you in order for them to give you their email address – a Lead Magnet!

 

Lead magnets can we very varied and different to each type of business, a PDF download or a Video – it needs to be a piece of information that a prospect will find very useful as this is the first chance you have to impress on them that you are an authoritative in your area of expertise.

 

Tags

Each time we have a different entry point for a contact we add a Tag.  This will enable you to target a specific group of people when sending out future emails with content and offers.

 

 

Sequencing

Sequencing allows you to automate the process of sending emails to your subscribers, ensuring they receive timely and relevant content without you having to manually send each email.  

Sequencing automation involves creating a series of pre-planned emails that are sent out automatically based on specific triggers or actions. These triggers can include actions such as subscribing to your email list, making a purchase, or clicking on a specific link in a previous email.

By leveraging email sequence automation, you can create a personalised and automated journey for your subscribers. This not only saves you time and effort but also ensures that your audience receives the right messages at the right time, increasing the likelihood of engagement and conversions.

 

Newsletters

 

Monthly newsletters for your audience are a great way to keep them updated with your latest news, offers, reminding them of your services and to add recent testimonials you have received. 

New clients

When a new clients purchases from you, what happens next?

Does there need to be an automated email with the next steps of what they need to do?

After a purchase, you can set up a sequence with a thank you, more information about you and your business, but more importantly what else you could offer to help them?  Maybe you have a follow on product or service.  It is easier and cheaper to sell something to an existing client rather than attracting a new one.

 

 

Existing clients

 

Existing clients still need to be nurtured.  There could be another service or product they didn’t need when they first started working with you, and now you have reminded them they are ready to buy.

Keeping an existing client is far easier than attracting a new one – it is also cheaper for your business.  

 

Sending regular newsletters to existing clients is a great way to keep them updated.
